Mike Sonoiki is a Managing Partner, who specializes in serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, retirement plans, charitable organizations, and businesses. Since entering the financial services industry in 2005, he has guided clients through the complexities of wealth management with a disciplined, long-term investment approach. His mission is to deliver objective and timely financial advice with the highest level of professional service, helping clients preserve, grow, and transfer wealth across generations.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing from Concordia University and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner designation from the College for Financial Planning—a credential that required completion of approved educational programs, rigorous examinations, and extensive professional experience.

Away from the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Ayesha, and their five children.

Since joining the financial services industry in 1998, Chris Cornelius has built his career by successfully helping high-net-worth clients and non-profit organizations to achieve their financial goals, even during volatile markets and challenging economic times. His customer-first approach to wealth management includes a combination of client communication, market analysis, and the continuous execution of growth and wealth preservation strategies. 

Chris has continued to develop his technical expertise in the areas of planning and investment strategies. He has received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, a formal recognition of expertise in the areas of planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning strategies and retirement savings. His CERTIFIED INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ANALYST® credential from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania is recognition for advanced financial expertise in the areas of investments, risk assessment and portfolio management.


Chris is a proud alumnus of Iowa State University, graduating in 1994 with a BBA in Marketing. He formerly served on the MercyOne Des Moines Foundation's Board of Directors for many years. He is active in his community through Freemasonry, coaching youth sports and as a youth leader at his Church.  


A native of Iowa from the rural town of Vail, Chris, along with his wife, Jamie, and their five children have made Waukee their home since 2012.  When he is not working diligently for his clients, Chris enjoys playing golf and attending his children’s school, athletic and church activities.

Michele Flanagan is a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Registered Client Associate with over 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. She applies her extensive experience to support financial advisors and ensure clients receive the highest level of service.

Michele began her career in banking before transitioning to a full-service brokerage firm, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of investment products and market regulations. Michele holds her Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses, qualifying her to handle a broad range of client inquiries and investment-related transactions, including order entry and account administration.

Michele graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing. She likes to play pickleball and enjoys creating memorable adventures with her grandchildren, niece, and nephew.
